Torqeedo 1103CS

I bought a new Torqeedo 1103CS outboard and carry-bags from torqeedoshop.com last year to replace my trusty but heavy Mercury 5 for my Honwave 275 inflatable. My sailing yacht is on Windermere and so it’s only been used in fresh water and in mostly clement weather but it’s not missed a beat! So light to carry in sections between car and dinghy rack, no fuel-can and hose, easy to set-up and an amazing, almost silent experience when underway! Not as fast overall as the Mercury but an acceptable passage time, with the ability to carry out three or four return trips to shore on one charge, usually close to max power and travelling around 5 knots.
